A cynical optimist who doesn't understand why life can't be like the movies, Harry Steele is a teller of tall tales and short stories that draw the audience into his warped worldview.

 

Born in London but aged in Somerset, Harry returned to the capital a child of two worlds.  

 

Like Superman.

 

Now a comedian, he writes and performs stand up in London and beyond.  He is a regular at Angel Comedy and has been gigging at a variety of other top venues including G&B Comedy, Comedy Virgins and We Are Funny Project.

 

In 2009 his first play, 'Shite Christmas,' was performed to packed houses in Bristol and in 2011 his work was placed 1st and 3rd in the Shepton Mallet Digital Arts Festival's short film awards and 1st place in the London Independent Film Festival.

He also co-hosts a podcast with his brother Rory Steele celebrating the 'wonderful' world of video game movies: Games On Film.
